Audition for Angelmakers: Songs for Female Serial Killers
This October, our popular true crime concert musical Angelmakers will return for four nights—this time in a much-beloved Pittsburgh music venue (TBA). We're looking for a drummer, guitarist and bass player, ideally female-identifying, to join the powerhouse Angelmakers team. The songs include post-punk, country, 80's synth pop, and all stops in between. Check out the Angelmakers songs on Bandcamp, Spotify, Apple Music and most other streaming platforms.

KHURAKI: A Celebration of Afghanistan in Pittsburgh
From April 12–14, 2024, at the Hillman Center for Performing Arts, audiences from all over Pittsburgh experienced the flavors, music, and culture of Afghanistan as they followed a group of women from their lives during Taliban rule to a new beginning in Pittsburgh. This award-nominated immersive theatrical experience, created by Afghan immigrants and RealTime Arts, illuminates Afghan traditions of Ramadan, birth, and death. Each night patrons enjoyed the live performance, a delicious Afghan tasting meal prepared by the women whose stories they saw performed, and a post-show discussion with members of the resettlement, public arts, and Afghan communities. The show was a collaboration with Shady Side Academy.
